Three Services
Work Matched to What the Watch Needs
Not every watch needs the same attention. Our three service paths are designed around different situations — routine care, cosmetic restoration, and deep heritage work.
Back to HomeHow We Approach Every Job
Our Methodology
Every watch, regardless of service type, follows the same initial path before any category-specific work begins.
Intake Assessment
Visual and functional check of the case, crystal, crown, and movement condition. Documented on intake.
Scope Discussion
We tell you what we found and what the work involves. You agree on scope and cost before we proceed.
Service Work
The agreed service is carried out with proper tools and materials. Parts are sourced if needed, with your prior knowledge.
Testing & Report
Movement rate is tested on a timegrapher. A written condition report is prepared and accompanies the watch on collection.
Service 01
Mechanical Movement Servicing
A full disassembly, cleaning, and lubrication service for automatic and hand-wound watches. Suited to owners who notice their watch running slow, losing power reserve, or simply due for its regular service interval. The movement is fully stripped, each component cleaned in our four-stage ultrasonic system, inspected for wear, reassembled with fresh lubricants, and regulated to rate.
Process Steps
- 1 Full disassembly of movement and casework
- 2 Four-stage ultrasonic cleaning of all components
- 3 Inspection of mainspring, escapement, and jewels
- 4 Reassembly with fresh lubricants throughout
- 5 Timegrapher rate testing across multiple positions
- 6 Written condition report prepared

Service 02
Crystal & Case Restoration
Careful replacement or polishing of scratched crystals, and refinishing of worn cases for vintage and modern pieces. The gasket is renewed at the same time, and water resistance is checked with a pressure gauge where applicable. Case finishing is done by hand to preserve the original character — chamfers, brushed surfaces, and case angles that machine polishing would flatten or round off.
What Is Covered
- Crystal assessment — replacement or polish recommendation
- Gasket renewal (crown, caseback, crystal)
- Water-resistance pressure test where applicable
- Case surface refinishing by hand
- Preservation of original finish character

A comprehensive restoration for cherished or inherited timepieces, handled in close consultation with you throughout. This covers movement overhaul, dial conservation, sourcing of period-appropriate components, and detailed documentation of every step. The scope and timeline are agreed in advance, and you receive updates as work progresses. This is the right service for a watch that has particular meaning — whether financial, sentimental, or historical.

Across All Services
Technical Standards We Follow
Moebius Lubricants
Swiss-made watchmaker lubricants used throughout — correct viscosity for each component type and movement calibre.
±10s/day Regulation Target
Serviced movements are regulated to within ±10 seconds per day on the timegrapher. Results shared on collection.
Secure Watch Custody
All watches in our care are individually tagged and kept in locked, climate-aware storage. Intake and collection are both documented.
Pressure-Tested Seals
Water-resistance is verified by pressure gauge after gasket work — not assumed from visual inspection alone.
Written Documentation
Condition reports accompany every completed service. Heritage projects include photographic documentation at each stage.
Stereo Microscope Inspection
Hairspring condition, pivot wear, and jewel damage are assessed under a stereo microscope before any movement work begins.
