1 Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

• "Service" — any watch repair, restoration, or related work carried out by Wela Mongkol
• "We / Us / Our" — Wela Mongkol, operating at 88 Sukhumvit Soi 24, Khlong Tan, Bangkok 10110
• "You / User / Client" — any individual who engages our services or uses this website
• "Timepiece" — any watch, clock, or mechanical device submitted to us for assessment or repair
• "Estimate" — the written cost and scope proposal provided before any work begins
• "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any written service estimate accepted by you

2 Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, dropping off a timepiece, or engaging our services in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. By engaging us, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement.

3 Service Description

Wela Mongkol provides professional watch repair and restoration services, including but not limited to:

• Mechanical movement servicing — disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and regulation
• Crystal and case restoration — crystal replacement, case refinishing, and gasket renewal
• Heritage restoration — comprehensive overhauls and conservation of cherished or inherited timepieces

Services are available to customers in Thailand. We do not accept postal submissions from outside Thailand without prior written agreement.

4 Service Delivery

Estimates and approval

Before any work commences, we will provide a written estimate detailing the scope and cost. Work begins only after you confirm approval in writing or verbally with a follow-up written confirmation.

Turnaround times

Estimated turnaround times are provided as a guide and may be affected by parts availability, the condition of the timepiece, or unforeseen technical factors. We will keep you informed of any significant changes to the expected timeline.

Parts

Where original or period-appropriate parts are required, we will seek your approval before sourcing them. Third-party or aftermarket parts may be used where originals are unavailable; this will be noted in your condition report.

Collection

Completed timepieces should be collected within 30 days of notification. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you. After 90 days, we reserve the right to apply a storage fee of ฿200 per month.

5 Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Indicative service prices:

• Mechanical Movement Servicing — from ฿2,490
• Crystal & Case Restoration — from ฿5,200
• Heritage Restoration Project — from ฿8,800 (scope agreed individually)

Final pricing is confirmed in the written estimate and may differ from indicative prices depending on the condition and complexity of the work. Payment is due upon collection of the timepiece. We accept cash and bank transfer.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel after approving an estimate and work has commenced, you will be charged for labour and materials used up to that point. If work has not yet begun, no charge applies.

6 User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your timepiece, including any known faults or previous repairs
• Ensure you are the rightful owner of any timepiece you submit to us, or have the owner's explicit permission to do so
• Collect your timepiece within the agreed timeframe
• Use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others

7 Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and design — is the property of Wela Mongkol or its licensors. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without prior written consent is not permitted.

8 Disclaimers

Our services are provided with reasonable care and skill. However, we cannot warrant specific outcomes for all timepieces, particularly those that are antique, damaged, or of uncertain provenance.

Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute professional horological advice for any specific timepiece. We recommend discussing your watch's condition directly with our team before drawing any conclusions.

9 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific service.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of sentimental value, unless caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

We are not responsible for pre-existing faults or damage that cannot be attributed to our work, which is why we provide a written condition report before any work begins.

10 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Wela Mongkol against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation regarding ownership of a timepiece, or your unlawful use of this website.

11 Termination

Either party may withdraw from a service agreement before work has commenced without penalty. Once work has begun, our cancellation terms (Section 5) apply.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service if we determine that the work cannot be completed to an appropriate standard, in which case we will return the timepiece to you at no charge.

12 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion. If an informal resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

13 General Provisions

• Entire agreement — these Terms, together with any accepted service estimate, constitute the entire agreement between us
• Severability — if any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect
• Waiver — failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right
• Assignment — you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent

14 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
