What They Found Here
A mix of different situations — first-time visitors, returning clients, and people who came with watches they were not sure could be helped.

My grandfather's Seiko had been sitting in a drawer for about eight years, running about three minutes slow per day. Anan explained what he found at the assessment — dried lubricants and a slightly bent cannon pinion — and gave me a clear cost before touching it. Got it back running at around +5 seconds per day. The written report was a nice touch I had not expected.

I had a scratched acrylic crystal on an old Omega Seamaster and had been told elsewhere it needed to be replaced. Nattawut polished it — the result was significantly better than I expected, and they also renewed the gaskets and pressure tested it. They were clear about what polishing could and could not do before starting, which I appreciated. No surprises.

Brought in my late father's pocket watch — a Longines from the 1940s that had not run in years. The team took time to discuss what restoration was realistic for the condition of the dial and movement. They found a suitable period crystal and conserved the dial without affecting the patina. The documentation they provided is something I will keep with the watch permanently.

My ETA-based automatic needed a routine service — it had been about seven years. The work was completed in nine days, and Pim called me when it was ready rather than waiting for me to follow up. The timegrapher results came with the report, which meant I could see it was regulated properly before I even tested it myself. Pricing is fair for what is included.

I have a Rolex Datejust I wore daily for five years before noticing the crystal had developed small chips. The replacement was handled carefully, and they replaced the caseback gasket at the same time. The fit was correct and it has been water-tested since. I returned six months later with a dress watch for service — both experiences were consistent in quality and communication.

I was uncertain whether my grandmother's Thai-market watch from the 1960s could even be serviced — I could not find any information about the movement online. Anan identified it within a few minutes and explained that parts were scarce but a service was worth attempting. They found what was needed through their trade contacts. The watch now runs and I understand its history better. The process took longer than standard work but I knew this from the beginning.

Case Studies
Three examples showing what the work involved from beginning to end.
Case Study 01 · Movement Servicing
1960s Seiko 5 — Power Reserve Loss
The Situation
A Bangkok collector brought in a Seiko 5 from the late 1960s that had been stored for six years. It would run for only a few hours after being wound before stopping. The owner was unsure whether the mainspring had failed or if it was something else.
What We Found
Assessment revealed heavily degraded lubricants throughout the movement, with partial seizure in the gear train accounting for the shortened run time. The mainspring was intact but fatigued, and the cannon pinion was slipping — which also affected timekeeping. We presented these findings to the owner with a clear cost estimate before starting.
The Outcome
Full service with new mainspring and cannon pinion adjustment. After regulation, the movement ran at approximately +8 seconds per day — within normal range for a 60-year-old lever movement. Power reserve returned to full. The owner described the watch as running better than it had in his memory.

1940s Longines Pocket Watch — Inherited Piece
The Situation
A Thai client brought in a Longines 18-ligne pocket watch that had belonged to her late father. The movement had stopped, the crystal was cracked, and there were concerns about the dial condition. She wanted it restored but was anxious about anything that might change its character.
What We Undertook
After a careful initial discussion about her expectations, we agreed on a scope that prioritised movement function and preservation over cosmetic perfection. A period-matched crystal was sourced through trade contacts. The dial was cleaned and stabilised without refinishing. The movement was fully serviced with photographic documentation at each stage.
The Outcome
The watch returned to running condition with its original character intact. The documentation record we provided included condition photographs taken before, during, and after the work — something she said she would frame alongside the watch. Timeline was 22 days, agreed in advance.

Modern Diver — Worn Case and Compromised Gaskets
The Situation
An expatriate client had a Seiko diver he wore daily for five years. The case had heavy surface scratches, the crystal showed stress marks from a minor impact, and he had noticed slight condensation inside the glass after heavy rain — suggesting the seals had aged.
What We Undertook
Crystal replacement with a matching specification glass. Full gasket renewal at crown, crystal, and caseback. Case was cleaned and brushed surfaces were re-finished by hand to restore texture without altering the original geometry. Water-resistance tested to manufacturer specification by pressure gauge after completion.
The Outcome
Condensation issue resolved. Case refinishing removed most of the surface scratches while maintaining the original brushed and polished contrast. The client noted the finished result matched the watch's original appearance closely — which was specifically what he had asked for rather than a high-polish treatment.
